While the state of New Hampshire is better known for its tax-free sales, I think that its riverside views deserve just as much recognition. Portsmouth's main pier not only boasts colorful gardens but also offers love locks, which couples attach to fences to symbolize their unbreakable love. I don't know if these locks remain today, but I hope that these people's love⁠⁠ will overcome even the most formidable challenges ahead.
