Acadia National Park in Maine was my favorite park to visit when I lived in Massachusetts. Whether viewing the colorful fall foliage or basking in the summer sun, I always felt at peace in Acadia. Being in nature is comforting because when you stand beside the tall trees and feel so small, you know that your pain is only a tiny pinpoint in your life—that things will be okay, and you can get through it.
