My parents come from the island of nation of Taiwan where the people are kind, and the  nature is beautiful. Depending on which region you visit, there are mountains, forests, and ocean. Alishan (阿里山), Kenting (墾丁), and Jiufen (九份) are some of my favorite sites. It's been over four years since I've last visited my relatives in Taiwan, but they and the country will always have a special place in my heart.
